The Gambia braces up to host Ghana at the first leg of the second round of matches in the qualification stage for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Uruguay 2018.

Ahead of the much anticipated game coming up on Saturday December 2nd in Banjul, the Gambia Women’s U-17 Queens have mobbed up at the GFF Football Hotel in Yundum while they continue to gear up for the weekend derby at home.

World Cup and Continental finalists Ghana will arrive in Banjul by the middle of next week while anticipating for a stiff challenge against the Gambia been outright winners over Sierra Leone in the preliminary stages.

Gambia’s Coach Abdoulie Bojang is currently winding up training with the team at the National Technical Training Center in Yundum and the Independence Stadium in Bakau on daily basis.

The Gambia is hoping to resurface again at the world stage after its first appearance in Azerbaijan, 2012.
